Dunelm's new charity partnership - Macmillan Cancer Support

As we continue to help everyone in the UK create a home they love, we also want to give back to causes that help our colleagues and the communities we serve.  From January 2019, we’ll be teaming up with Macmillan Cancer Support to raise as much money as possible and support their incredible work.

When it came to choosing a new charity partner, Macmillan really stood out. Their focus on treating everyone as a person with individual needs reminded us of our customer-first, inclusive way of doing things. And because almost everyone and every home will be affected by cancer in their lifetime, we felt particularly inspired to support the great work Macmillan do to help individuals when they and their families need it most.

The world of homes is all about sharing - sharing ideas, sharing tips, and sharing moments together - but sadly not every moment can be a happy one.

Finding out you or someone close to you has cancer is never going to be easy, and what comes next might be the hardest thing you ever go through, but with Macmillan no-one affected by cancer ever needs to go through it alone.

With our new charity partnership we know we can raise lots of money to help Macmillan provide a diverse range of supportive services, from 24 hour chat lines when you need a friendly ear, financial advice and aid, or hands-on nursing.

We're looking forward to two years full of fun fundraising, and from record breaking attempts and fancy dress days to braving the shave, sponsored runs and of course the famous Macmillan Coffee morning in September, we hope you'll join us to raise money for a very worthy cause and help us make a difference!
